For several years, I had wanted to photograph Castle Hill Lighthouse in Newport under a perfect sunset sky. Tonight, got my wish. It was windy and freezing, but man did that sky light up. We got stuck in traffic through Newport and arrived there 5 minutes before sunset. We ran down the path to find the area packed with a dozen or more photographers. I found a spot to set up and this was the first shot out of the camera. Well worth dealing with the cold and wind.
